WEC 35 Medical Suspensions

The Nevada State Athletic Commission handed down numerous medical suspensions after the knockout-filled night that was WEC 35. Out of the 10 bouts on the card, 6 ended by way of T/KO. The complete list is as follows:

-Carlos Condit (def. Hiromitsu Miura): Suspended until Sept. 3 with no contact until Aug. 25 due to left eyebrow and lip lacerations

-Hiromitsu Miura (def. by Carlos Condit): Suspended until Jan. 31 due to nasal and left medial orbital blowout fractures (can be cleared by an Ophthalmologist); minimum suspension until Sept. 18 with no contact until Sept. 3 for precautionary reasons

-Brian Stann (def. by Steve Cantwell): Suspended until Sept. 3 with no contact until Aug. 25 for precautionary reasons due to knockout

-Marcus Hicks (def. by Jamie Varner): Suspended until Sept. 18 with no contact until Sept. 3 for precautionary reasons due to knockout

-Micah Miller (def. by Josh Grispi): Suspended until Sept. 3 with no contact until Aug. 25 for precautionary reasons due to knockout

-Carlo Prater (def. by Brock Larson): Suspended until Sept. 18 with no contact until Sept. 3 for precautionary reasons due to knockout

-David Terrel (def. by Blas Avena): Suspended until Sept. 3 with no contact until Aug. 25 for precautionary reasons due to knockout
