Franca is coming off of his suspension for testing positive for drostanolone after his loss to Sean Sherk. His suspension ends on July 5 and he will be eligible to fight again by on Aug. 9; the date that UFC 87 will take place.

Frank Edgar (8-1) is coming off of his first loss; a three round unanimous decision against Gray Maynard at UFC Fight Night 13. Edgar holds big wins over Tyson Griffin, Spencer Fisher and Mark Bocek and looks to get back on track against Franca at UFC 87.
