According to Sherdog.com, Fedor Emelianenko will face Tim Sylvia in July not June as we reported yesterday. There has been no official word as of yet, but Emelianenko himself has apparently confirmed the date. Sources close to the story tell us that Affliction is a possibility to promote the fight, but that Adrenaline will obviously be involved in some capacity. One thing appears certain, this fight is very likely to take place. "[Sylvia] is a good fighter, a strong fighter, the former UFC heavyweight champion, which is important," Fedor Emelianenko told Sherdog.com. "I am looking forward to fighting him and training hard for this fight."
