The Seventh season of the Ultimate Fighter will feature middleweights and will be coached by light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and #1 contender Forrest Griffin. UFC president Dana White has promised "big plans" for this season.

The UFC middleweight division is thinner in terms of competition in comparison to the stacked lightweight, welterweight, and light heavyweight divisions. Hopefully this season will add some top prospects into the middleweight landscape.
