After his impressive performance against Alvin Robinson at UFC Fight Night 12, Nate Diaz asked in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan to face the top contenders in the stacked UFC Lightweight Division. Diaz reiterated his demands to face the best at 155 in a separate UFC post-fight interview and responded to criticism that the UFC had been protecting Diaz from tougher competition. Although a rumored second fight between Diaz and Manny Gamburyan is likely, the UFC may choose to have him fight a top 5 contender.
