Dave Meltzer of FOX Sports is reporting that the rumored bout between heavyweights Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (30-4-1) and Cheick Kongo (11-3-1 MMA) will likely take place in early 2008, not at UFC 79 in December as was first reported by the fight networkThe fight is likely to take place in January or February at the Super Bowl weekend card, and set the winner up for a fight with Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture or his next opponent. Couture is expected to fight on the Super Bowl weekend card. His opponent is yet unknown.
