Antonio Rodrigo Thanks to MMAEurope.net for translating an article found on "Portal da luta"in:

In an exclusive interview with the Brazilian site "Portal da luta", Rodrigo Minotauro said that he was received very well in the US and he will likely face Cheick Congo in December before he gets a title shot.

The Brazilian fighter said he misses Pride and the Japanese crowd but that he's happy about the way he's being treated in the US.

"Fighting in the octagon is a new sensation and a challenge," said Minotauro. "In every event I've fought – WEF, Rings and Pride – I had the chance to be the champion and I think it won't be different in the UFC."

About Congo, Monotauro says that he's an athlete with power and endurance that pushes the fight, just like him. "Cheick is a good striker but I believe I can challenge him standing. [And on the ground] he has skills enough to defend himself but I don't know if he'll escape my positions".

Minotauro is training to neutralize Congo's solid striking game (specially knees) and submit him. Regarding the end of his relation with Brazilian Top Team he said that he fights for his own team now.

About the future, he's promoting his organization "Mintauro Fight", which held five events in Brazil already, in order to promote new, young and talented athletes. He also added that he wants Fedor again sometime in the future.
