For the second time in just over a month, Ian McCall has had his fight scrapped at the 11th hour.
UFC officials confirmed with FOX Sports that McCall-Ray Borg for UFC 203 this Saturday night will not happen after Borg became ill.
Back at UFC 201, McCall’s bout with Justin Scoggins was removed from the card after Scoggins failed to make weight. The fighter has since decided to compete in the bantamweight division instead of flyweight.
“Uncle Creepy” has not fought since early in 2015 when he was bested by John Lineker. He still took that fight even after Lineker came in four pounds over the flyweight limit of 126.
UFC 203 will proceed with 11 fights, though the official lineup has yet to be re-released.
