Former boxer turned WMMA fighter Holly Holm is quickly gaining a reputation as a possible member of the UFC’s roster. UFC president Dana White has heard the name and knows fans want to see her inside the Octagon.
“I was on the street the other day and some guy was like, ‘hey sign Holly Holm,'” said White. “I was like, ‘yeah, I know. Everybody’s telling me.’ I haven’t seen her fight, but I keep hearing about her.”
The bantamweight is 5-0, with each win coming via stoppage. Holm’s biggest wins have come from Bellator and Legacy FC. She takes on Angela Hayes at Fresquez Productions: Havoc from New Mexico on December 6.
As a boxer, Holm was 33-2-3 and officially retired earlier in the year.
