UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre’s name has been in the MMA news for drug testing more than his actual November fight with Johny Hendricks as of late.
The two sides have had issues with testing procedures, but St-Pierre went ahead and confirmed on Twitter that his September VADA tests have already come back.
“I’ve been through 3 unannounced anti-doping controls by The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association since Sept. 1st,” GSP wrote on Twitter. “My samples have been analyzed by the WADA-accredited UCLA Olympic Analytical Lab.”
GSP posted the letter he received, which stated “all results to date from September 4, 2013 and September 11, 2013 are negative.”
St-Pierre and Hendricks meet at UFC 167 from Las Vegas later this month.
