Edgar (19-4-1) has won 13 of his 18 career UFC bouts. He was denied in his push to become a two-division champion when he lost a decision to Jose Aldo. Aldo and Conor McGregor are scheduled to unify the featherweight belts later this year.
Holloway picked up his seventh consecutive win with a first round finish of Charles Oliveira this past weekend.
