With the final fight cards of the year rapidly filling up, Jeremy Stephens reached out through social media to try and get himself on one of the December cards.
Stephens went directly to former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar for a fight at UFC 194 on December 12, and as he has proven in the past, “The Answer” answered the call.

So far, nothing official regarding the two meeting has been made by the UFC.
Edgar (19-4-1) is on a four-fight win streak since a decision loss to Jose Aldo for the title in 2013. Aldo meets Conor McGregor to close out the year in a title unification match.
Stephens (24-11) snapped a two-fight losing skid when he knocked out Dennis Bermudez this past July. He is 4-2 overall in his last six.
