Frank Mir-Alistair Overeem Added To Ever-Growing UFC 167

Two heavyweights looking to right the ship will square off this November, as Frank Mir takes on Alistair Overeem.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal first reported the bout for UFC 167, which serves as the 20th anniversary for the UFC. The event takes place from Las Vegas.

Mir, a former UFC heavyweight champion, lost to Josh Barnett last month. Overeem, meanwhile, is an ex-Strikeforce champion coming off back-to-back defeats at the hands of Antonio Silva and Travis Browne.

The bout, which could serve as most main or at least co-main events, will likely be down the order. The current main event is Georges St-Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks for the UFC welterweight title, while Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans collide in the co-main.

Also, welterweights Rory MacDonald and Robbie Lawler, and Tyron Woodley and Josh Koscheck, meet in other featured bouts.
