Former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold wants to return to the Octagon later this year.
Rockhold, who was forced out of a planned fight with Tim Boetsch due to a knee injury, has a challenger coming after him in Francis Carmont.
On Twitter, Carmont let it be known he is ready to step up and face Rockhold, who dropped his Octagon debut to Vitor Belfort earlier this year.
Luke Rockhold wants to fight me, he is the champion of Strikeforce, I'm ready, let's go.

Carmont (22-7) has won 11 consecutive fights, including six in the UFC. He defeated Costa Philippou via decision this past September.
Rockhold wasted little time responding, though, he didn’t exactly accept or decline the challenge.
@FrancisCarmont lets make a deal. If I beat you, GSP can never wear that little camo hat again?
