Randy Couture's decision to leave the UFC wasn't without effort. The UFC hall of famer made the call to sign with Spike TV after a year and a half of seeking a significant position with the promotion."I tried everything I could do to try to get something significant worked out to stay with the company and there was just nothing there, they just weren't interested," said Couture on Knockout Radio.
Couture claims the only offer he had was to appear on four FOX shows a year and that wasn't enough.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Couture signed as one of the four coaches on Fight Master: Bellator MMA. The reality show airs over the summer on the same channel that hosted UFC's The Ultimate Fighter for several years.
