Jim Miller has a match four years ago still on his mind. Miller, coming off a victory over Joe Lauzon, made it known he is seeking a rematch with Gray Maynard in 2013."It will be four years ago in March (since Maynard defeated Miller via decision)," said Miller, during an interview with MMAjunkie.com Radio Friday. "To assume it would be a similar fight would be kind of ignorant to what we're capable of as fighters."
Miller (22-4) earned his division-tying 11th Octagon victory when he topped Lauzon late in December at UFC 155. Maynard (11-1-1) was the original opponent for Lauzon before pulling out with a knee injury.
"I guarantee you nobody else is asking to fight Gray," said Miller, of the former UFC lightweight contender.
Maynard defeated Clay Guida last year after failing to wrestle the title away from Frankie Edgar. He owns a 9-1-1 mark with the UFC.
