UFC president Dana White told members of the Brazilian MMA media that UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva is willing to face Michael Bisping.

Bisping is currently set to face Vitor Belfort in January at UFC On FX: Belfort Vs. Bisping from Brazil.

"If Bisping beats Vitor Belfort, he will be the next in line," White said (thanks to Tatame.com for the quotes). "Bisping wants to fight Anderson and Anderson wants Bisping."

White added that Silva and the UFC are close to putting the finishing touches on a 10-fight contract to remain in the promotion. The UFC boss said the deal is nothing they have never done before with a fighter, but that they are willing because potential super-fights with Georges St-Pierre and Jon Jones are bouts "(Silva) wants to make."

Silva last defended his title with a victory over Chael Sonnen. He bested Stephan Bonnar in a non-title fight this past October.
