Tim Kennedy Takes Shot At Fighters Who Pulled Out Of Strikeforce Bouts
By Dana Becker | December 21, 2012
Tim Kennedy is one of the most Twitter-friendly MMA fighters out there. On Friday, Kennedy took a shot - through words, not bullets - about his fellow Strikeforce fighters pulling out of planned bouts recently."I guess I should pullout of my last Strikeforce fight due to 'injury' so I can have a for sure ride to the UFC," Kennedy posted.
He added the hash tag, "Not How I Roll" behind it. Kennedy is set to meet Trevor Smith on the prelims of Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine.
Starting this past September, Strikeforce has had troubles putting a card together due to injuries. Two cards were cancelled completely, and now, a planned super-event in January with three title matches is down to one.
