Tamikka Brents (1-0) is proud to me a member of the LGBT community and isn't afraid to flaunt it. In her professional debut Brents, an open lesbian, walked out with the rainbow colored flag to show her support."I just wanted to show people that I'm out, I'm proud about it, I don't care," said Brents to Bleacher Report. "'Yeah, I'm gay. You got a problem with it?' I'll punch you in the face."
Brents turned pro in November with a win over Jessica Halverson (3-2) out of FHMMA. Before turning pro, Brents had 10 amateur fights to her name. She was undefeated in all of them and finished majority within round one.
At Invicta 4, Brents returns to take on Amanda Bell (0-0). The card takes place January 5 from Memorial Hall in Kanas City, KS. The promotion's website is expected to stream the card for free.
