Bellator 83 Finalized With Early Start Time

Bellator 83 is official with three main card and seven preliminary fights taking place from Caesars Atlantic City in New Jersey. The prelims will air afterwards at Spike.com.

The show airs this Friday, December 7, an hour earlier at 7 p.m. Eastern Time to avoid overlapping with the "Video Game Awards 2012." It will air on MTV2.

The main event is the finals of the Season 7 featherweight tournament with Rad Martinez vs. Shahbulat Shamhalaev (11-1-1). The winner gets $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot.

The other fights for the main card are Zoila Frausto Gurgel (12-1) vs. Jessica Eye (8-1) and Zach Makovsky (14-3) vs. Anthony Leone (11-5).
