Cage Warriors Championship Fight Changed
By Joseph Lisnow | November 30, 2012
Conor McGregor looks to make Cage Warriors history by becoming the promotions first fighter to hold two titles at once. McGregor is the current featherweight champion and looks to secure the 155 pound title with a win over Ivan Buchinger (21-3) at Cage Warriors 51.
His original opponent, Jim Alers (9-1) was pulled from the card due to a hand injury.
Conor McGregor is on a seven fight win streak after picking up two victories this year. He stopped both of those fights. Buchinger is 9-2 since 2010. He currently holds a three fight win streak.
Cage Warriors 51 takes place December 31 from The Helix in Ireland. MMA Junkie will be streaming the show starting at 4 p.m. Eastern Time.
