Estevan Payan And Michael Bravo To Meet At Strikeforce's January Show
By Joseph Lisnow | November 30, 2012
The November card was cancelled following injuries to middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (10-1) and no opponent could be found for heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (10-0) after Frank Mir (16-6) pulled out with his own injury.
Payan is a former Bellator and Shark Fights fighter who made his Strikeforce debut this year, earning a decision win. He has stopped three of his last four fights. Bravo makes his Strikeforce debut while looking for his fourth win in a row. All of his wins have come via knockout.
The last Strikeforce card is set for January 12 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Showtime will air the main card and Showtime Extreme will feature the preliminary fights.
