Forrest Griffin Doesn't Want To Lose To A Guy In Pink Tights

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin has a different kind of sense of humor. During interviews, it is often times difficult to tell when Griffin is stating the truth, or just trying to get a rise out of somebody.

In late December, Griffin will face Phil Davis in the co-main event of UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez II. Originally, Griffin was suppose to meet Chael Sonnen, but Sonnen opted out for a title shot and spot on The Ultimate Fighter as a coach.

Now, with his change in opponent, Griffin is sounding off on why he doesn't want to lose to "Mr. Wonderful."

"The thing about Phil Davis is I really don't wanna get beat up by a guy in pink tights," Griffin said. "He's long, he's quick, obviously a great shot, great wrestling, great anaconda choke."

Davis (10-1) is coming off a victory over Wagner Prado, while Griffin (19-7) downed Tito Ortiz in his last fight. This bout marks the first one for Griffin not against a former UFC champion since a 2007 win over Hector Ramirez.
