Chael Sonnen’s Thanksgiving Day Message

Chael Sonnen (27-12-1) and his mom sent out a video wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Of course, it was in typical Sonnen fashion.

During the short clip, Sonnen recalls about how one relative always spends the holiday while taking a shot at the NFL.

"My Uncle Mel has to watch football," said Sonnen. "Watching football is really it. That and turkey will put anyone to sleep. As a matter of fact, when my athletic abilities diminish I'll probably join the NFL so maybe I should pay closer attention."

Currently, Sonnen is set to coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter. The opposing coach will be light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (17-1), who Sonnen has repeatedly taunted dating back to the cancelled UFC 151 show. The two will meet sometime in April after the show's season finale.
