Johny Hendricks didn't waste anytime Saturday night, catching Martin Kampmann with a quick right-left combo, scoring a first round knockout victory in the co-main event of UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit.

Hendricks likely positioned himself at the top of the 170-pound rankings as the next contender following his ninth UFC win in 10 appearances. He also knocked out former contender Jon Fitch in the first round late in 2011.
