Georges St-Pierre Unsure If Super-Fight With Anderson Silva Is Next

The question was coming, and you could almost see it in the eyes of UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. All week - and even longer than that - St-Pierre has avoided talking about a potential super-fight with Anderson Silva, instead focusing only on Carlos Condit.

St-Pierre scored a decision victory over Condit Saturday night at UFC 154: St-Pierre vs. Condit, becoming the undisputed champion. With Silva, the UFC 185-pound champion sitting Octagon-side and rooting him on, GSP decided to remain neutral as far as the possible fight goes.

"I know Anderson is here right now, but I just want to focus on Carlos Condit 100-percent," St-Pierre told Joe Rogan after the five-round war. "I want to take some vacation, think about it, and make the best choice for myself, the fans; I want to make sure I do the right choice."

Silva seemed genuinely concerned that St-Pierre might be in trouble when Condit reversed a takedown, as they showed "The Spider" in a window on the screen. He cheered openly for GSP, standing with the Montreal crowd as the final seconds ticked off the clock.

As far as he is concerned, Silva has made it known he wants to face St-Pierre. UFC president Dana White has said he can make the fight happen, even setting May as target date. So, GSP appears to be the only one unsure right now at this point.
