Georges St-Pierre (22-2) is glad to see females getting a chance in the UFC. The current welterweight champion just doesn't understand the appeal from a fans point of view."I'm happy for the girls that fight, but me personally I have a hard time watching the girls fight," said St-Pierre to MMA Weekly. "It's the way I grew up maybe, the mentality, I'm different, I'm old school, but I have a hard time watching girls fighting, it's hard for me."
Women are expected to make their UFC debuts sometime during 2013. It is believed that current Strikeforce bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (6-0) will be the inaugural champion going forward at 135 pound. When St-Pierre was questioned about Rousey, he simply replied "good for her."
After being out of action for over 19 months, St-Pierre makes his UFC return this weekend at UFC 154. He will look to make his seventh title defense in a row.
