Anderson Silva Lands Cameo In Next Steven Seagal Film

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has given high-praise to Hollywood actor Steven Seagal over the past few years. Now, it appears Seagal is returning the favor.

During a recent interview with Globo, Silva confirmed that he will be appearing in Seagal's next film in a cameo role. The title of the movie, or Silva's full role, were not discussed at the time.

"I'm going to Los Angeles to record a movie with Steven Seagal," Silva said. "I'm very excited about this new phase. I'm preparing."

Silva, who recently defeated Stephan Bonnar, has made a handful of movie appearances during his career. He was featured in the documentary Like Water, and also appeared in Hell's Chain and Never Surrender.
