Anthony Johnson Vs. Andrei Arlovski? 'Rumble' Is Down For It

Anthony Johnson looks like a large light heavyweight. That's quite a statement considering up until earlier this year, Johnson was competing at the welterweight ranks.

Now, following a convincing victory over D.J. Linderman at World Series of Fighting 1, "Rumble" is talking about a possible move to the heavyweight division to face ex-UFC champion Andrei Arlovski.

During a recent interview with MMAWeekly.com, Johnson, a former UFC competitor himself, said he hopes one day to compete at heavyweight just to say he fought at 170, 185 and 205. As for Arlovski, if offered, he would be tempted.

"I thought about that fight too. I'd take it if they offered it to me," Johnson said. "If it happened, I would accept it. Andrei's a great athlete. I remember when he won the title, I remember when he lost the title; I've followed his career. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen."

Johnson (14-4) has won four consecutive bouts since his release from the UFC following a loss to Vitor Belfort this past January. He also missed weight for the fight, prompting the promotion to let him go.
