Georges St-Pierre (22-2) has heard the critics who say that he needs to go for the finish more and stop relying on the judges for his win."I agree with the criticism," said St-Pierre to The New York Post. "I want to do better. I want to give more entertainment to the fans."
St-Pierre has competed exclusively for the UFC since 2004. Half of his 18 fights have ended via decision. Five of his last six in particular went to the judges. The other win came way of a doctor stoppage. With the exception of one fight, they have all been unanimous wins for St-Pierre.
After a 19 month layoff due to an ACL injury to his knee, St-Pierre makes his long awaited return at UFC 154. He fights Carlos Condit (28-5) to unify the welterweight championship.
UFC 154 takes place November 17 in St-Pierre's home country of Canada.
