Luiz Cane Cut From UFC Following Recent Loss

Luiz Cane has been cut from the UFC roster, according to his manager Alex Davis. Cane's release was first reported by the Brazilian news source, Tatame.Cane (12-5) has gone just 1-4 in his last five fights, including a recent decision loss to Chris Camozzi at UFC 153: Silva vs. Bonnar in Brazil.
The 31-year-old last won in 2011, scoring a TKO over Eliot Marshall. His overall UFC mark stands at 4-5.
