Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (32-10) blames fighting injured cost him in his last fight with Ryan Bader (14-3) and the former Pride champion claims that it happen again."Me losing my last fight due to an injury to such a weak opponent like Ryan Bader, I've got excuses for every loss I have, but you could tell I was injured," said Jackson on Inside MMA. "But me losing to a guy like Ryan Bader has really lit a fire up under my a**. Now I'm staying in shape, I'm training all the time."
Bader handed Jackson his first pair of back-to-back losses with the UFC 144 decision. Jackson entered the fight six pounds overweight citing an injury in training camp that caused him to go over the allowed weight.
"I'm not fighting injured no more," said Jackson.
Jackson was expected to finish the final date on his contract at UFC 153. A dislocated knee injury caused Jackson to bow out and left the UFC to find a new opponent for Glover Teixeira (19-2). After Teixeira won, Jackson tweeted to Dana White to host the fight again.
It is unknown when Jackson will make, what might be, his final appearance inside the Octagon.
