DaMarques Johnson Receives His Release From UFC
By Dana Becker | October 09, 2012
Former Ultimate Fighter runner-up DaMarques Johnson has confirmed his release from the UFC. Johnson missed weight after taking a fight with Gunnar Nelson on short notice at UFC on Fuel TV: Struve vs. Miocic recently.
Johnson (16-12) was defeated by Nelson, his second loss in less than 60 days. The welterweight was 4-6 inside the Octagon.
And the hits keep on coming... No longer a UFC fighter.
