When Travis Browne (13-1-1) injured his knee early in his fight against Antonio Bigfoot Silva (17-4), the Brazilian wasn't aware."I did not even notice because he has a fighting style to be bouncing from one side to the other," said Silva to TATAME. "After the fight he was seen limping in the locker room and told me that he had hurt his knee, but made it clear that was no excuse."
Silva defeated Browne in the main event of UFC on FX 5 to capture his first UFC win and gave his opponent his first loss at the same time. Silva was happy to win the fight and with Browne's attitude afterwards.
"At least he was humble after [the knockout]," said Silva. "If he could keep fighting longer leave more damaged, could have some torn ligament."
