Dana White: 'Jeremy (Stephens) Is Fighting'

Jeremy Stephens was arrested early Friday morning for an out-of-state charge. Stephens, who is still being held in a Minnesota county facility, will fight Yves Edwards at UFC On FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot this evening according to UFC president Dana White.

"Don't listen to the media!" White posted on Twitter. "Nobody ever told them Jeremy isn't fighting. He is fighting!!"

Stephens was picked up due to a felony charge in his home state of Iowa. Stephens is currently in Minneapolis for the card, and was placed in county jail this morning.

It appears that, despite being held without bail, Stephens will be released in time to make his bout with Edwards. FightLine will have complete coverage of the Stephens-Edwards bout and all the other fights from inside the Target Center tonight.
