Joseph Benavidez Still Dealing With UFC Title Loss
By Dana Becker | October 05, 2012
Joseph Benavidez joined the Fuel TV team for commentary this weekend for UFC On FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot. Benavidez was asked how he is feeling after failing to secure the UFC flyweight title last month in a bout with Demetrious Johnson."I'm feeling fine," Benavidez said. "Physically, I am great. I didn't suffer any injuries. I still feel like I am at the top of the division."
Benavidez will likely be asked to provide in-depth insight into tonight's No. 1 contender match in the 125-pound division between John Dodson and Jussier Formiga.
"I'm just looking forward to fighting again for the fans," Benavidez said. "A couple of wins and I'll be back in there for the title. Congrats to Demetrious, he fought a great fight and I will be back."
