Travis Browne Tours Minnesota Vikings Facility
By Dana Becker | October 03, 2012
Ahead of the biggest fight of his career, Travis Browne made a brief stop to visit the Minnesota Vikings training facility. Browne will face Antonio Silva Friday night in Minneapolis at UFC on FX: Browne vs. Silva.Browne (13-0-1) addressed the team and watched practice, admitting that his high school did not have a football team when he was there.
"It was cool watching them in their element, and seeing top guys from another tough sport train so hard," Browne said. "I think being a UFC fighter and being a top football player are two of the toughest jobs in sports. My high school didn't have a football team so I never got a chance to really play other than with my friends at home. I think I'd have been pretty good."
Browne and Silva will main event the show from the Target Center. Both heavyweights are looking to make an impact with a win.
