UFC On Fuel TV: Jimi Manuwa Vs. Kyle Kingsbury

Jimi Manuwa vs. Kyle KingsburyWe've arrived at our Facebook main event, as Jimi Manuwa (11-0) debuts in the UFC against Kyle Kingsbury (11-4) at light heavyweight. The referee will be Leon Roberts.
Round 1: Kingsbury catches Manuwa coming in too hot on a wild left hook, taking advantage by working a possible choke. Kingsbury in side control, looking to lock the head up as Manuwa tries to power out unsuccessfully. Kingsbury remains in control, showing his excellent ground skills. Manuwa turns and is able to get out and away. Big body shot by Manuwa, as Kingsbury tries to shoot in and get the takedown but is unsuccessful. Manuwa lands with a right and a left hook. More strikes by Manuwa and Kingsbury drops head first to the canvas, possibly waking himself up in the process. Manuwa asks Kingsbury to stand up and Manuwa fires in with a knee that lands. Huge left hook to the liver by Manuwa and he lands several uncontested knees to the head of Kingsbury. Right-left combo connects, but Kingsbury still standing somehow. Another knee rocks Kingsbury and Manuwa follows up as Kingsbury retreats. Manuwa looking for the finish, and asks for Kingsbury to stand back up again for more punishment. Swollen left eye for Kingsbury, as Manuwa misses with a spinning back elbow. Three big misses by Manuwa as the round comes to an end.

Round 2: Kingsbury gets a takedown and works for control. Kingsbury unable to keep Manuwa down, as the Brit gets to his feet but is tied up by Kingsbury. Uppercut by Kingsbury, who goes back to tying Manuwa up, attempting to take him back down to the mat. Manuwa with a right and a knee to the body, but appears to be getting a little tired after the series of first round strikes. More knees by Manuwa, including a flying knee that just misses. Manuwa lands several uncontested knees inside the clinch. Manuwa shows his submission game, just missing a neck-tie. Just over a minute to go, and Manuwa lands a huge left hook. Right by Manuwa as Kingsbury lands some nice knees. Double-leg takedown by Kingsbury gets Manuwa to the mat. Kingsbury landing nice shots on the ground.
FightLine scores the round 10-9 for Manuwa
Round 3: No third round, as the referee and doctor stop the match after Kingsbury's says he cannot see out of his swollen left eye.
