Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson Felt As If Ortiz Defeated Griffin
By Dana Becker | July 08, 2012
We haven't heard much from Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in the past few months concerning MMA, but the former UFC light heavyweight champion offered up his take on Saturday's Tito Ortiz-Forrest Griffin decision at UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II.Ortiz was defeated in his final fight, as the former champion announced his retirement and was inducted into the UFC's Hall of Fame. Griffin, who claimed the belt from Jackson for his lone title reign, topped Ortiz twice by decision in the three meetings between the two.
I feel bad 4 Tito Ortiz he won 2 out of 3 rounds. Y cheat a man on his last fight? It's scary when u can drop a fighter twice n still lose.
Jackson was scheduled to meet Mauricio "Shogun" Rua in what would have likely been his final fight for the UFC, but he delayed the bout to have double knee surgery. No timetable for Jackson's return has been announced by the fighter or the UFC.
