While appearing on a recent edition of MMAWeekly Radio, former Ultimate Fighter season eight competitor Eliot Marshall announced his retirement. Marshall was released by the UFC after a loss to Brandon Vera last year."I'm retired. There's a point of diminishing returns, I believe," Marshall said. "For me, fighting, I wish I could have been a champ, that would have been great. I would have made a lot of money. I would know what it means to be the best in the world."
Marshall finishes his MMA career with a record of 10-4. He will be the head coach at Easton Training Center in Denver.
"We're going to have a full fight team," Marshall said. "That's what we want to do."
