The debut episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil aired this past Sunday, featuring the initial sixteen elimination round fights that determined the cast for the show's first international edition.According to Sherdog, the premier episode pulled in big numbers for Globo –- the network on which TUF: Brazil is broadcast in Brazil -- generating an audience of some eight million viewers.
TUF: Brazil features featherweight and middleweight UFC hopefuls vying for a contract with the promotion under the tutelage of coaches Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort.
In the United States, The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil can be viewed real-time (though not live, as the show follows past TUF formats and is pre-taped) and subtitled on Sunday nights via TUF.tv. FUEL TV is expected to carry TUF: Brazil this summer.
