UFC president Dana White cleared up any rumors of former UFC champion Tim Sylvia or ex-NFL star Herschel Walker joining the heavyweight division following Wednesday night's UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger event from Omaha, Nebraska. Sylvia has recently started pushing for a return to the Octagon."No," said White, in an interview with MMAjunkie.com. "I don't even know what Tim Sylvia's done. The last Tim Sylvia fight I saw, he got knocked out by a boxer."
As for Walker, White said, "I totally respect the guy. But there's no way he could compete in the UFC heavyweight division."
With Strikeforce ending heavyweight fights in the near future, that might mean the end of Walker's brief MMA run. Walker won both his fights inside the cage.
