Video: GSP's Road To Recovery, 1/30/12

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is currently embarking on the long, slow journey to rehabilitate the knee he injured while preparing to fight this weekend at UFC 143.

"Rush" tore his right ACL while readying himself to meet Nick Diaz in defense of his title, and his injury will keep him out of the cage long enough that Diaz was pitted against Carlos Condit to dispute the interim UFC welterweight championship in GSP's absence.

Though countless hours of hard work lay in front of him, St-Pierre is no stranger to hard work and is motivated to get in the cage to defend his belt against the interim champ. Working with gymnastics coach Patrick Beauchamp, GSP is already back in the workout room strengthening himself as much as he can while he recovers.

"Hi everyone, I'm back in Montreal for the weekend," St-Pierre announces in the video below. "I just started training gymnastics again. I'm very limited in what I can do but I had a great workout. Pat (Beauchamp, gymnastics coach) prepared a great training program for me. So I'll see everyone next weekend in Las Vegas for the fight Condit Diaz."
