The numbers were announced at the post-fight press conference. This marked the UFC's return to Chicago for the first time since UFC 90, which boasts UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva defending his title against Patrick Cote.
UFC on FOX 2 featured Rashad Evans against Phil Davis, Chael Sonnen vs. Michael Bisping, Chris Weidman-Demian Maia, and a complete prelim card that was aired on FUEL TV. The UFC and FOX signed a seven-year agreement last year to work together, and will promote shows on FOX, FX and FUEL TV going forward.
