'UFC On FX: Guillard Vs. Miller' Results

PRELIMINARY CARD
Joseph Sandoval vs. Nick Denis
Round 1: Denis comes out firing with a some serious blows. Denis with a series of elbows and this is it as Sandoval drops to the ground. Denis just walks away from a falling Sandoval. Denis landed three consecutive right elbows, all around the left side of Sandoval's head.

Pat Schilling with "Shipping Up to Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys for his entrance, while Daniel Pineda selects "It's a Fight" by Three 6 Mafia. That alone shows you just how diverse the UFC is. Mario Yamasaki the referee in charge.
Daniel Pineda vs. Pat Schilling
Round 1: Plenty of nervous energy from both Pineda and Schilling to start, as both are making their UFC debuts. Pineda rocks Schilling after the two swing wildly and miss. Pineda takes it to the ground and is in full mount, landing lefts to the head of Schilling. Pineda takes the back, Schilling is eating punches. Pineda has the rear-naked choke locked in and Schilling is forced to tap.

Tommy Hayden walking out to "Wild Side" by Crue, while Fabricio Camoes selects "Memories" by David Guetta. The referee in charge is Josh Rosenthal for this lightweight bout.
Fabricio Camoes vs. Tommy Hayden
Round 1: Feeling out period early, as Hayden lands a leg kick. Pair of strikes miss by Hayden, while Camoes fails with an overhand right. More leg kicks connect from Hayden, who is very crisp with his strikes. Hayden takes the back of Camoes, who is working on a kimura himself. The two come back to their feet, as Hayden eats a knee and takes him to the ground. Hayden with no interest in a ground game, allowing Camoes to get right back up. Camoes shoots in and grabs a leg, working to get hooks in and take the back. Hayden rolls to half-guard control, throwing short strikes to the head. Camoes goes for another submission, but Hayden pulls out. Camoes with a sweep and he is in control, landing with a big fist. Camoes takes the back, looking for a rear-naked choke. Camoes seems to have it in, taps twice but the referee ignores it. A third time is the charm, as Camoes claims the victory by submission.

Daniel Roberts out to "Death Rides a Horse," while Charlie Brenneman selects Trace Adkins' "Whoop A Man's Ass." Herb Dean gets his first match of the night as the third man inside the Octagon.
Charlie Brenneman vs. Daniel Roberts
Round 1: Brenneman moving very nicely, lands a quick jab. Roberts comes back with a nice strike, but Brenneman scores with the takedown. Brenneman in control now, moving to side mount. Strikes to the body and head of Brenneman, followed by big rights to the top of the head of Roberts. Brenneman in full control of this fight right now, as Roberts can't do anything from this position. More punches to the face and Brenneman puts a clamp on Roberts' head. Roberts trying to work his way up, but Brenneman is able to push him back to the mat. Roberts seems frustrated by Brenneman, as the former college wrestler is easily winning this round. Blows to the body of Roberts by Brenneman, and we are going to the second round for the first time tonight.
