Vitor Belfort: 'Anthony Johnson Will Be Defeated In My Homeland'

Having rebounded from an emphatic, first-round knockout loss to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva this past August by scoring a first-round knockout of his own over Yoshihiro Akiyama, veteran fighter Vitor Belfort has his eye on keeping the ball rolling and fighting his way back to the title shot.

The 34-year-old veteran will face his next test tonight in Anthony "Rumble" Johnson. Excited to face Johnson on home turf, the Brazilian Phenom believes that there won't be anything that Rumble can do come fight night to challenge him in his current state of mind.

"I'm going to test his heart and I'm going to be 100 percent for him and he's going to face a hungry, hungry lion," said Belfort. "I have faith in my ability. No man can stand against me when I am in this frame of mind. I am very happy to represent Brazil and am looking forward to this week and enjoying the UFC being here. But once I am in the Octagon, and the door slams shut, it is all business.

"Anthony Johnson will be defeated in my homeland."
