Strikeforce 38: Muhammed 'King Mo' Lawal Vs. Lorenz Larkin

Lawal shoots for the takedown quickly and dumps Larkin to the mat with ease. Lawal posturing up and looking to land ground and pound. Lawal stifling Larkin against the fence, Larking trying to sweep from half guard. Larkin tries to sit up and Lawal drags him back down. Lawal taking his time, but landing significant punches from the top. Lawal teeing off on what looks to be a clearly outmatched Larkin. The referee stands them up mid-assault for some reason, giving Larkin a gift with a minute to go. Larkin circling away, Lawal standing in front of him. Larkin lands a straight and chases after Lawal with a pair of hooks that miss before the bell.
FightLine scores the round 10-9 for Lawal
Round 2: King Mo tries to get a takedown behind an overhand right, but Larkin defends. Lawal shoots for a single that Larkin defends well, even landing some good punches as Lawal works for it, but Mo eventually gets him to the mat and against the cage. Lawal posts up and starts to fire off with hard right hands. Larkin is fading, he eventually goes out and the ref calls it.

King Mo gets on the ref for not stopping the fight early enough, but he says that he understands that she wanted to give Larkin every chance he could to recover, since he would want every chance himself.
