Third Opponent Lined Up For Dustin Poirier At UFC 143

Excuse Dustin Poirier if he waits a few days to scout Max Holloway. Poirier and Holloway are being reported as the newest bout for UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit, making Holloway the third opponent for Poirier.

UFC 143 takes place February 4 from Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit will do battle for the interim UFC welterweight title. It is unknown where Poirier-Holloway will wind up on the card.

Originally, Poirier was set to meet Erik Koch. Koch, however, was injured and forced out. In his place, Ricardo Lamas was named to face Poirier. The same fate hit Lamas and he was knocked out.

Holloway will be making his UFC debut, sporting a 4-0 record at just 20 years old. He will be one of the youngest fighters in the UFC. MMAWeekly.com was the first to report the bout.
