By Mark Wayne | December 31, 2011
Lost in the limelight directed at UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem was DREAM's annual New Year's Eve event, Geni Desu Ka!!, which aired last night in the States due to the time zone difference. On the card, Shinya Aoki and Hiroyuki Takaya defeated their respective opponents to retain their respective belts, Bibiano Fernandes won the DREAM bantamweight tournament and Fedor Emelianenko picked up his second straight win over middle of the road competition.
Emelianenko took out Japanese judoka Satoshi Ishii in the first round of their main card battle, video evidence of which can be seen below.
Genki Desu Ka!! went down at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
