TUF 14 Finale: Diego Brandao Vs. Dennis Bermudez

This is the second and last TUF 14 finals bout, in the featherweight division. Josh Rosenthal is the third man in the cage for this bout.

Round 1: Brandao lands a hard leg kick early, but Bermudez is right on him. He ducks a punch and closes the distance, but can't get the takedown. Bermudez lands a front kick and then lands a takedown. Brandao lands a nice double up kick, but Bermudez eats it and slaps him in a front headlock as he stands up. Bermudez doing much better on the feet with Brandao early than most thought he would. Brandao tags him with a nice two-punch combo. Bermudez backs Brandao up with his pressure, landing good strikes that look to be throwing the aggressive Brazilian off. Brandao wobbles Bermudez with a punch, but Bermudez hangs in there and keeps right in Brandao's face. Brandao clocks Bermudez with a left hook, but he shakes it off. Brandao knocks Bermudez to his back with a double flying knee, Jose Aldo style. He takes Bermudez's back, grabs him round the waist and then dumps him to the mat. Bermudez pops to his feet. Brandao lands a good knee to the body. Bermudez drops Brandao with a hard right hand and goes for the finish. Brandao looks for a leg lock, but Bermudez defends and goes back to work with ground and pound. Bermudez pounding away, but Brandao rolls for the armbar and forces the tap almost immediately!

It looks like Brandao may have broken Bermudez's arm, showing potent finishing skills in every area, not just striking. What an amazing round and finish.
